Why? In a student hall you live with dozens of students from other countries and you can spend your days with them, eating together, chatting or making parties whenever you want. The atmosphere is really great and it is something you will definitely miss when you come back to your home country.
Personal comments:
The place where I lived in - Kamtjatka - is a brand new student house (we were the first students living there) constituted by 3 aggregated buildings. It is located just next to the city center and 10 minutes from the university by bus/bike. The facilities are very good since everything is new and you can have both privacy or fun/bonding with your flat and corridor mates. Boys and girls live together in the same corridor. The flats have a common kitchen and WC, and are shared with one or two persons (the latter is the most common). In the beginning some things were not ready yet, e.g., common rooms, and there was some dust on the corridors, but with time everything got ready and now it is not a problem anymore. The 3 buildings have wireless internet access; it is enough for browsing sites or chatting, but not good if you want to download big files - you should try the university network for that. At some spots the signal is not so good. The alternative to Kamtjatka is the K Block or private flats. K block has a great atmosphere, with lots of students, but the facilities are not as good. You have to share a kitchen and shower with 11 people, although you have a toilet per 2 persons. Private flats have the disadvantage of being a bit isolated from all the other students. Overall, Kamtjatka is probably the best places to stay if you will be studying in Horsens. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? The conditions were excellent, but what was really important- I had the opportunity to live in an astonishingly diverse and outgoing society.
Personal comments:
The conditions that I used to live in were shocking for me- in the positive manner. The campus was really big and modern, while the rooms stood up to the highest standards. I had my own room, with kitchen and bathroom shared with another Erasmus student. Also the location of the campus was satisfying, because it was in the city center, while being just 10 minutes from school by bike. The price on the other hand was really high, as for east-european conditions, but the host university supported us in paying the rent.
