If returning, I would choose: Flat
Why? The flats were affordable for living in the city and there were a lot of students living in the building.

I spent more because of the conversion of the dollar to the euro. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
The HES is not a good school. There were no resources and you were pretty much on your own. You might as well have been attending home school, it was a waste of time. Other than the school the expereince was awesome. Be prepared to meet people from all over the world. Also buy a bike ASAP, you won't regret it! In my opinion:
