My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
The dutch language resulted from the begining really dificult for me because it is a germanic language and I understand better the latin languages. This is the reason why I spoke and communicate most of the time in english, although I learned basic things in a lot of languages...including greek!. Is very nice to know similarities and differences of your own language in comparison with other languages. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Most of the people spoke English which was very good. Only older people didn't but I could interact with them in Dutch or they would try everything to make understandable. Also the University provided Dutch courses not compulsory for everyone interested in. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
