HOUSING
by Annika, Hogeschool van Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Shared with two other people
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I lived in a flat with many oher international students and since we were all friends there were plenty of parties and other social gatherings!
Personal comments:
The communication with the appartment renting bureau was poor and the contact with the 'gardien' not that great since neither spoke any english or even tried to! Even though the majority of the inhabitants was foreign! But reflecting on the situation.. this made me more eager to learn the language, which was why I came to study in France. HOUSING
by RonnyS, Hochschule Bremen, Bremen, Germany
Financial Management, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Residence Hérouville Citis near campus
Why? I have lived there and it is better. It is private accomodation near campus 5 minutes walk and near Continent supermarket
Personal comments:
Euroresidence is diry and cheap. Only go there if you can only afford cheap accomodation. No facilities and it is run down. Accomodation at Citis is better with pool table, communal TV and pool table, babyfoot, DVD and you share with French studentsd. It costs more but it is clean and has security!!! HOUSING
by Les, University of Stirling, Stirling, United Kingdom
Marketing and Sales Management, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Living at Euro Residence meant you could mix with all nationalities. Great craic!
Personal comments:
The company who rented Euro Residence were very strict and inclined to over react if you had a party charging you for any cleaning that was needed after it! Other than that, the residence was great. You can choose from studio rooms, two or three bedroom flats. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Close to the University and not far from the centre! Prêt de la Fac et pas loin de centre ville!
Personal comments:
In compare to many other Erasmus students from other universities, we have nothing to complain. Facilities are nice. The only minor is maybe the administrational problems This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

HOUSING
by sldoherty, University of Glamorgan, Treforest, United Kingdom
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? So I could learn more about the culture and the language.
Personal comments:
They could have had more equipment and furniture available, e.g. table and chairs in the kitchen, an oven, pots and pans etc. There wasn't even a common room with a television, no telephone, etc! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

HOUSING
by Marlina, Hogeschool Haarlem, Haarlem, Netherlands
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It is private, more space and you are free to choose cost as low as possible.
Personal comments:
It is quite good though not perfect. The rent cost per month should be decreased and the rent cost per month should be including electricity cost. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

HOUSING
by Antonio, Faculdade de Economia do Porto, Porto, Portugal
Management Science, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because it was a truly wonderful experience, to be able to share all that moments with so different persons, but at the same time so equal. We all have our differences, culture and personal, but we are there with the same propose, and living on a Campus, sharing sometimes the same space, making dinners, parties, etc, just make us live more intensely that great experience, and it get us more close, it make us a family, that share the same
