Course recommendations:
The choice of courses and the availability/flexibility (time-wise) were excellent. We were able to create a schedule to our own liking and were allowed to the majority of classes. In addition we were able to chose our examination dates. However, the teaching-styles on the other hand weren't necessarily convincing. Some teachers hardly favoured student-teacher interaction, did not allow for any discussions and nor independent and critical thinking. In some courses the teacher would read out the material for straight two hours, as for example in Marketing Túristico or Entrepreneurship. I can only recommend to anyone to take classes where the subject is of great interest, one can always be unlucky and end up with a teacher who does not have the gift of delivering the material to his students in an interesting way.

Personal comments:
No matter what great facilities universities have to offer, what matters most to me is the quality of teaching, the personality and capabilities of the teacher. I have had subject that I assumed to dislike, but with the right packaging of the material, one can surprisingly find a challenge and fun in almost all areas of study. Therefore, also in regard of my home university, I believe that there should be more focus teaching styles.

Course recommendations:
The level is a lot higher in literature courses, I would say do as much written as possible.

They need to improve their resources, Internet access and books in the library at Cadiz itself.

Course recommendations:
The courses that I chosed can not be compared with courses in Vienna. Of course I chosed easier courses according to former Erasmus students in Cadiz, but in general I can say that the academic level is lower than in Austria

Personal comments:
I had to learn by heart for the exams at the end. This kind of studying is not the nivel a university should have. I would have prefered other kinds of exams, especially of courses of the last study-year

Course recommendations:
The program was designed specifically for American students studing in Cadiz. We were required to take the classes offered and did not have much of a choice. The teachers were very kind and helpful.

Personal comments:
I would like more interactions with Spanish students. It would have made sense for us to be involved in some regular university classes as well as our "special classes".

The university needs to invest more money into its language schools. Computing facilities are a joke. Also, the university would do wel lto reduce the size of its classes for many subjects.

Try to choose courses that are not overrun by international students. Usually they are quite simple.
