1: Wished i had a drivers licence. Marseille, Monaco, Nice and paris just down the road. Spain, Switzerland and Italy around the corner. With no college to go to, renting a car would have being a brilliant adventure.

Go there, make friends. Enjoy the views, go sking. Get drunk. Hang out with the french. It is mind blowing experiencing a social life with people like yourself and your friends back home but who are from a different country, speak a different language.

Left at quite an easy academic semester in home university. Remeber to talk to years ahead. Did not eventually effect my overall final degree.

UPM has a great Erasmus network set up,join EGUC,

Remember to bring copies of passport id, photos, E111 insurance form, cash at hand, Lonely Planet guide on area, and pick up a local guide book for all the best places to eat,

If you like to study at a real campus with a lot of sports activities you have to go to grenoble.

grenoble is one hour away from the best ski areas in europe the eductional insurance is very high

How to set up bank accounts. More info on accomodation, all the paperwork needed and that I needed 1000 photos!!!

If you can go to ESA (business school part of UPMF) then do it and work hard. It can help you a lot!

Make sure you take photos. Get some form of insurance once you are out there. To translate your birth certificate (you will need it) you cna have it done over there at a service called ADATE in Grenoble

Great program, great area, close to the mountains, great people. Small town so it's easy to get to know, but just big enough.

Traveling is fun but can be very expensive even if you are sleeping on trains and staying in cheap hostels. Plan carefully and sometimes its just fun to go without planning.
