I can definitely recommend to travel as much as possible. Go and see the beautiful islands and beaches, make a diving course and explore the underwater world - it's awesome. If you want to live off campus check out www.housinginteractive.com. Read Review

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
I wish I had known more about the electives offered before going there. I also wish that I had known before, that doing an internship as required is not mandatory after all and that the school is not very helpful with assisting in finding one.
In my opinion:
Most people loved it.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
If you need to get credits for the courses at AIM than make sure you are majoring in finance or marketing, because there are only few other courses being offered and the final list of electives is not available until one week before start of classes.
