Personal assessment

KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? The main reason was because at the campus i was able to meet more students and by this mean to create more interaction with people from the host country, Romania.
Personal comments:
Nevertheless the conditions were not so good, when i remember that period i have remeber the good times i've spent there.

ACADEMIC
by Andreas, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Vienna, Austria

My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
courses are divided into lecture and seminar, this means they are quite time-intensive, there should be some space between the courses selected because lecture or seminar times may change also throughout the semester

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
a better possibility to communicate with professors; lecturers should use more multimedia for teaching

FINAL COMMENTS

I really enjoyed my stay at Bucharest although there were some problems at the beginning to get familiar with everything (bureaucracy, other living standard). I improved my knowledge of the language, got to know better the culture and people and met a lot of new friends from all over Europe. It is true that there are some negative things to say about Bucharest itself (traffic chaos, noise) but there are a lots of places to relax like parks, etc. Sports can be done at a very cheap price, but travelling and visiting the country is the most interesting thing. The university is not really modern but there is an excellent atmosphere among the students.
