If you are from the UK be prepared for a different style of teaching and learning. You have to remember facts and information rather than develop skills of analysis and interpretation. Some exams are even multipe choice!

Why?
It was a good experience learning to live independently. The architecture and some housing in Krakow is beautiful and you would not get this accommodation for the same price in western Europe.

The scheme was good in that the university had an agreement with a local letting agents. However, when we had a bad experience with our landlord, neither the university nor the letting agents could do anything about it. This was unfortunate.

All the nightlife is centred around the main square (rynek) or the roads leading off it. There are some clubs, but lots and lots of great and unique bars. The old jewish quarters Kazimierz is also a great alternative place to go for a more chilled and funky night out.
