HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I lived with other ERASMUS students, attanding the same courses, we became a friends, helping each other to study, doing presentations...improving my language skills, learning new language as they were from Mexico and Germany...very good time...Just the rent was quite expensive compare to the scholarship i have got.
Personal comments:
Housing at this university wasn't so good. Well, was too expensive for me. Even i've got the cheapest one, was really expensive for me.I also had to pay a half of the first month rent to the agancy which provided accommodation for me.Anyway, the agancy just received money and didn't care about anything else.University should care also about foreign students to give them accommodation as cheap as possible and students shouldn't pay extra fees for it.Also,I couldn't see the room i have rented before i arrived. So I agreed for something,I haven't seen because it was the cheapest one. My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The international teachers were excellent. Polish teacher were not very good, the courses with polish teachers were boring.Only one, very good, young teacher-Polish was very good and I really enjoyed his course.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The courses were fine, the teaching methods were very good, i learn how to do good projects with other international students, the topics were very good...Just the courses early in the morning were anoying. Didn't have time to wake up and concentrate for course. No courses should start at 7.30 in the morning. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
The fact that f.e. landlords, or people in the offices generally didn't speak english i was pushed to speak polish.it wasn't so bad, because i learnt polish very quick.the university offered polish courses for beginners and imediate level as well, what was very helpful.people in shops didn't speak english,so i used or better say i tried to speak polish and it worked out.so i can say, i learn polish in level to get what i want. And also my english improved, as the study was in english and all international students spoken english. EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs

I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
The prices are higher, food in the school canteen was more expensive then in my home university canteen, accommodation was much more expensive as i had to rent a room and i lived in the dorm in my home university, as i wanted to know country, i spend more for traveling than at home, because at home i don't travel so much. i know the country. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
To pay in the office to register as a residence - that surprised me as i didn't know I have to do it at all. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
More information about courses, teaching methods and teachers. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
To prepare more interestin events for international students. And maybe do something like an album or short movie to give it/sell to students for the memory. FINAL COMMENTS
The time spend in Krakow at Academia Ekonomiczna was the best time in my life.It gave me new experience what about study, traveling, independent myself, meet new people, deal with a people from different country, know other cultures, other countries, economic situtations in different countries which i can know from news but still it's better to know it from people who live there.I found every country is different by itself and each country i live is beautiful itself.I would like to go for some simialr programme again. As i have already finished study at the university,I would like to go for some work experience programme - internship. It's the best opportunity to get work experience, learn about country, culture, learn other language and meet new people, new friends.
