A word from the school:
BEM is a French Business School with the Triple Crown accreditation (Equis, AMBA, AACSB). The most interesting and unique programme they offer is the Wine & Spirits MBA: - BEM Wine & Spirits MBA is a 23-month program, offering wine & spirits management courses during four distinct sessions taking place in Bordeaux (France), Adelaide (Australia), Sonoma (California), and Hong Kong. - The Wine & Spirits MBA is a part-time wine & spirits education program taught entirely in English, combining face-to-face residential sessions and on-line delivery learning.

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Markeiting courses overall on a very low level, while strategic/management courses were better. Impressing resources such as large computer rooms. Also, some courses were built up as case studies with computer support systems to run different scenarios; interesting but difficult to participate in large groups when your French level is too low... In general, too many courses were managed in a very hierachic way with a teacher preaching for a couple of hours while everybody is sitting quiet and takes notes on their laptops.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Yes, above all the introduction councelling for foreign students. At this time there was only one incompetent person for over 30 exchange students, who actually just made the situation worse by being unhelpful and giving bad advice. You really had to find out about everything yourself. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

filière ADI far from being well organized, as it is a relatively new branch. but interesting concept, mixture between theoretical courses and practical projects with local enterprises.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
clarify mode of assessment at the beginning of semestre. organize the cooperating companies to participate until the end of the semestre, not quit in the middle of it. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
There is a very strong feeling in France that students from an"School of Commerce" (ESC) come out better prepared than students from state universities... Some companies (French) actually prefer these students... I definately recommend EBP, the possibilities are increased in an international career prospect, also it is great to interact with so many international students (EBP includes 5 universities respectively in UK, FR, D, NL, SP, still, there are about 25 different nationalities involved. If you are french and you can afford it, take a school of commerce.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
No, just go with the flow, there is always something happening and the system is competent enough. the school is financialy well equiped so there is a feeling of material support around you, some teachers are actually working on side ventures, companies, R&D, politics... Marketing courses are really bad, finance and accounting can be quite tough.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
A few courses in English. Get some real marketing teachers. Exams happen once per semester and there are 15 in a row. It can be quite tiring. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

MGA courses are taught entirely in english, and it is therefore easier to meet international students. AUDIT classes only if you have advanced knowledge of French accountancy

very practical, leading to very specialised courses and little theoretical background
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
more interaction between French and foreign students would be helpful; assessments during the semester would take off some of the load of work at the end This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
