STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Personal comments:
The best cafe is "Standard" where you can find students of the different countries in the wold. There are lots of events to go in Würzburg that you can enjoy, but I think the best is the "Weinfest". This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
I did a practical Erasmus and I had not to study subjects. My work consisted of a research work in the laboratory. On the other hand, I had the opportunity to study German free. If you are student, you can study free the whole languages at Sprachzentrum.

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: German
Was learning German a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my German How much did you improve your German?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
At the beginning of my stay was a bit difficult to understand the chemistry terminology but my boss was very kind with me and I was able to learn them quickly. It is a good idea to have german courses for forein people because you can communicate better with people from your host country. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I had wished to speak more German. It is necessary to have knowledge of the language before you go. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
It is a good University of Chemistry where you have good material to work and very kind people that help you in all your problems as much academic area as life area. FINAL COMMENTS
You have lots of opportunities to travel if you are students. There are very cheap trips to travel in Germany. A good way to know about your host country is to contact with a Tutor. It is very normal in German and you can askfor them in your host accommodation.
