HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because it allowed for greater independence, freedom of movement, and allowed me to build a network of friends in Istanbul.
Personal comments:
I heard nothing about the university housing other than that it was extremely expensive relative to the prices that could be found in regular apartments. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I knew more Turkish food vocabulary -- you will need it there! In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Improve the registration process and make it more streamlined for exchange students so they do not have to get approvals from professors for each class. FINAL COMMENTS
Travel to the Black Sea region and the Anatolian region. Look for apartments in Şişli and Levent - you may be able to walk home from the University instead of sitting on the bus in the middle of İstanbul's unbearable traffic. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
