Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
If you're a french speaking student who wants to really improve his english forget it. There are far too many french people and you cannot really do without them, more, nearly all the students in Concordia speak also french. However the courses will permit you to practice english. Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I was very interested about improving my instruction language, but anything else because I read about Montreal and life over ther before going In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Is an excellent option. Is not a close campus, that allows you to life in the city and go to the school. Is a University with a comitment with the society. They always organize discusion about the problems in the world. The Students can gather in diferent groups in order to share or help. Is amazing!!!. I found I could fullfil many interests balonging to diferent asociations FINAL COMMENTS
The weather is hard. In winter time the maximum is -7. Any way, there are many diferent ways to enjoy the snow. Don't buy boots with laces, you'll need to remove them frecuently. With zipper are better. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
