Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Be open-minded for new teaching methods. Thinking (which means everything but learning by heart) is absolutely required!

Final comments
The university organises everything perfectly. Despite of one thing: travelling. Only one trip was organised (to Oslo on a party boat). I would recommend to books ome flights with low cost airlines with some fellow students to Stockholm and Helsinki. If you have one week off, rent a car (expensive, but worth it, if you are 4 people) and drive through Denmark. The landscape is gorgeous!
Other than that: be repared for a great academic and social life in Copenhagen ;)

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Family
Other sources of funding:
Personal savings
An ERASMUS grant
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
Compared to Vienna, the prices are generally higher, especially for food and housing. You can also spend your savings on the nightlife, if you want (a beer for 6-7 euros is normal), but in student bars you can save a lot. Mobile phoning was extremely cheap compared to Austria. Of course, I spent more on travelling - is is cheap to see all other scandinavian capitals with low cost airlines!

Personal comments
You should open a bank account in Denmark. Denmark is not part of the EURO-zone (Danish crown), and therefore you have to pay fees for withdrawing money with a banking card from a EURO-country.

Very well organised. You can choose between various forms of accommodation and rank it according to preferences. The university then organises everything for you!

NeXus (cafe/disco in the university every thursday), Park Cafe (expensive but very chique), The Moose (cheap pub), LA bar (student bar); in the summer you just buy beer and sit at Nyhavn next to the sea together with friends!
