HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I have lived a great experience with people I shared my residence with. If I had to go back, I would surely choose the same kind of place
Personal comments:
My host university arranged everything for erasmus students. It was present all year long to check if everything was alright. CBS seemed to care a lot to our comfort. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Best places are the weekly party within CBS. Other great places are Cavi, LA Bar, Park... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
All the courses I took were similar to those I would have chosen if I had stayed in Paris Dauphine. It was a way to not be "lost" when back to France. All courses I have taken in Denmark were really interesting
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
We could have been more in interaction with danish students. Otherwise academic life in Denmark is very well organized (especially team projects) and the CBS is a great place to study (architecture, design...) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Basic phrases Personal comments:
I haven't had any problem to communicate with danish people (as I didn't speak danish when I arrived) since they all have a very good level of english. It is very different from France, where people have a strong accent, and don't always have the basic skills. Therefore we had a very good opportunity to improve our level of english during courses, with other erasmus students (as I was our common language) and with danish people. EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Standard of living in Denmark is higher than in France, especially for daily spendings. Therefore, even if we paied attention to our spendings, they were still higher than in my home country. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
No real significant financial surprises since I knew what to expect. I budgeted my spendings month by month. In addition I used to have a student job to have extras. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

We had the chance to travel quite a lot during this year : baltic countries, sweden, countryside of Denmark. Some companies don't have expensive tickets. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
