My English knowledge before my semester abroad was ok. At teh university we have studied "Business English". The problem was that the classes are to big to have enough communication. That was the advantage of studying in Copenhagen. Small classes, discussion groups, and a lot of presentations.

It was a great time in Copenhagen. There are many sites that gives you an overview about Copenhagen. One tip is to read the Copenhagen Post - the local newspaper in English

Some of the smaller "Immigrant" shops are sometimes cheaper. During the first few weeks, you should compare various markets. Drinking at home and going out is cheaper than going out and drinking in cafes.

I had the best time at the private parties - usually on campus or in the private flats. Good place was the Studentenhus - cheap, good music, a lot of young people
