University night club was great! There was also a pub called Cambell's nearby campus which was cozy. Many good nightclubs, but very expensive to drink in them.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Campus was a bit restless. I wanted to study and I heard for some other students that it was quite impossible to study in hall of residences.

Personal comments
University provided a list of all the available houses, which was a great service because otherwise it would have been difficult to find a place other than a room in hall of residence.

Books are outrageously expensive!! So if you can borrow them from the library, do it as fast as you get the list of required books on your hand.

Personal recommendation

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
1. Use your common sense (if there is a place/district in the city people recommend you NOT to go, DON'T go)!
2. Even if it's difficult sometimes: Do as the Romans do.
3. Keep your mind open.
4. Go and travel around the country, you'll get more out of the whole experience. (I travelled some, but way too little.)

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
British-English itself is not difficult, but the dialects were in the beginnig. It might be frustrating at first, but everyone gets used to it I'm sure.
