HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? I like to be living near to where I have to study and attend to classes.
Personal comments:
Housing depends very much on the luck you have but it is very difficult to have something good and is always expensive. I was not very lucky first and then I found some other accomodation independently. I have always lived in the Campus but first I was in a place everybody calls "containers" so you can imaging how was that... Then I moved to a typical residence for danish students using the subletting procedure. I was more comfortable there and I payed less as well. My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Do not sign up for more than 20-25 ECTS credits per semester. It is too much!!

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Personal savings Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Because everything is incredibly expensive in Denmark!! At least if you come from Spain... but almost everybody agrees on that fact... including Danes!! Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Use the bicycle as much as you can!!! Only drink beer. Try to do your shopping in cheap supermarkets like Netto, Fakta or Aldi. Fotex is midle price but really good products and a large variety. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
No. I knew almost everything of the important things to know because I had some friends already studying at DTU in Demark. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
DTU is a great university. Good means and good education. Quite big catalog of courses in english. Far away from Copenhagen so distractions are not close!! FINAL COMMENTS
I really enjoyed my Eramus experience in Demark. I enjoyed so much that I repeat this year again. It is a calm country but for me it is perfect. I have made good friends and it was an experience I recommend to everybody. Watch out!!! It is very cold and not much light but if you do not care much about this you will find out a wonderful country. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
