Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Prices for accomodation in apartments/houses are reasonable in Paris compared to London.
Personal comments:
University gave us a list with housing agencies, other places to find flats and a few vacancies they knew of prior to our arrival. Number of vacancies could have been a bit larger but otherwise very good service.

Why? That is the only thing that exists in paris...practically. If you do find a dorm room it is very bad facilities and quite messy
Personal comments:
the university doesn't do anything to help the students with accomodation. the housing situation in paris is quite difficult - thus be prepared...

I lived at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris - it's a "foyer" in the South of Paris - I loved itr a lot because I was the first one to move into my newly renovated room and got to know many friendly people.

There is no specific housing at this university. You can either live in apartments or at cite universitaire which is a sort of campus but far away from dauphine.

Why? it depends on your social situation. as i am half french and have lived in paris before, i have family and friends living there, which means that i'm covered socially and have the opportunity to live really nicely for little money. but it is always nice to meet new people, so campus is the best way to create an international network.
Personal comments:
don't know as i didn't experience it, but fixed it myself.

Why? More freedom. In the dorms the maid comes to do security checks and wakes you up each morning. Also you don't have the right to have visitors without paying for them.
Personal comments:
The staff is not very friendly, but the rooms are very big. All of the rooms are singles so you don't have to deal with roommate problems.

The international relations office knew about our coming but accomodation wasn't really helpful to quickly get going in the French academical system.
