Why? I have enjoyed the experience of living so near the university. It is also a great way to make friends in a strange land.

Although not situated in the heart of Lyon, I can have no complaints regarding accommodation at EM Lyon.

actually i did not go out frequently at night, but i always take walk after dinner, the most places i walked in Lyon was the centre, river bank.

Personal spending habits:
Travel is much cheaper (and more efficient) in France. It costs more to get into clubs and for most drinks although the supermarkets are much cheaper than in the UK.
Nightlife: was more expensive than at home.
Overall, Telephone, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Food, Travel: was less expensive than at home.
