Final comments
Take advantage of Lyon's location - within 2 hrs of the Alps, Paris and Geneva, and not far from Italy. Explore the small towns around Lyon.

It's up to you to make effort to socialise with the local students - it would be easy to spend all your time with fellow speakers of your own language.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Although I enjoyed living on campus the school wasn't in the centre of Lyon. I'd prefer to live in the town centre as there is more to do and travel time would be less.

Excellent value and the school arranges it for you. Easy to meet local/foreign students. I recommend the Drakkar (small apartments) as oposed to the Galion (single rooms, communal kitchen and lounge).
