Just have a walk downtown in Brest... no need to go to a bar or to a cafe... people are very nice and it's very easy to meet people.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The campus is far away from everything. Brest is a very dynamic city where people are really nice, so i would have preferred to have more contact with this people.

Personal comments
Life at campus is not bad... We have a bar that any student can open whenever he wants, and there are a lot of parties. But life in Brest is better.

I wish I had known...
The weather is awfull at least for someone coming from a sunny country like me. And the campus is far away from everything. But I had a lot of fun anyways.

If you go, make sure not to stay every day in the campus. In Brest there are a lot of people really nice that you should meet.

Final comments
If have less than 26 years, Brest is great, because there are only student people in the streets. Most of them are very grunge, very hippies and they are very easy to talk to. The campus is very nice with a beach beside, but the problem is that it's far away from Brest (20min in bus). Anyway there's a bar in the campus, and uselly there's a lot of parties, and a lot of foreign students.
