You are going with a big group of people and you don´t ahve another choice sometimes. In addition, you usually have to take a taxi back so it proves to be more expensive

Final comments
Go with an open mind. Don´t be forced to experience something you think it´s against your morals or personal beliefs. There is a limit to everything!
try to do what local people do so as to experience the culture first hand.

HousingType of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Residence was not really cheap and it would have been hard to commute backa nd forth at night when the buses has stopped running. Although at residence you have more amenities and internet access and the like available and you get to meet a lot of otehr exchange student. However, if yo want to practice your spanish it might be better to rent an apartment with a spanish individual.
