The housing service is Ok, and could save a lot of nervs :) You can find the tourist information next to the bus station (only in the summer)in the rest of the year it is located next to the old part of the city, next to the old theatre.

It´s a small university with few students than I am used to but nonetheless, it´s alright. i t took me some time to get to used to it, well the whole experience but you learn to like the place. The teachers here are well equipped in their field so they teach their subjects well.

Make sure you are well of the obvious expenses you will incur. Make sure have all your medical checks done before leaving your country otherwise you will have to deal with more complicated proceses in the foreign country. Take all your essential that you will miss because you might not be able to buy them abroad. Most of all, get to know the people and enjoy yourself!

At this university, the inscription for teh sbjects for foreign students happens on the way: Who first comes, who first have the entree, because there are only 25 seets in a classroom for th einternational students. This means, if you want a very popular subject: be there on time!

It is not so difficult to have a good time: save some money and be among the other foreign students, because evrybody is alone and everybody want friends for these 5 months...

If you want to live with spanish people find an apartment share on your own. I met most of my spanish friends at bars, because the students are very young and spend most of their time studying.

It is a very small university and in the classes taught in Spanish you tend to have little contact to local people if you don't speak Spanish well. Good are the projects in teams.

The Basque Country is a very beautiful part of Spain and a trip along the coast should definitely be part of the stay.

Course recommendations
On Deusto, you ealways have to work in groups with only one international student, this is very easy, but not al the students are very helpfull. The courses are prety interesting, but when teachers don't speak very clearly, it is kind of difficult to follow. In general most of the subjects are good to understand.

Teachers have to learn to speak a little bit more clarer and less boring. There have to be a constant change betwen practice and theory, that "keeps the subjects alive"
