Type of housing: student accomodation out of the town centre

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House

Why? The student accomodation where i stayed was fantastic although i felt it would have been more practical to live in the town centre (Altstadt)

Personal comments:
I met a group of people here and i was paying the most rent out of all of them, but i have absoltuelty no complaints with my accomodation. It was so clean and there was enough room, not huge but enough, there were 16 people on my floor and four people to each bathroom, which were kept immaculate. I also had internet connection in my room which was included in my rent.

Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment

Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment

Personal comments:
Neckar muller is great if you are a fan of beer. It is particularly nice in the summer here as you can sit out on the river. La cave is a little like a youth club, but it plays good music and is open until 3am every day. There are always parties going on withtin the university, it is a good place to party.

Course recommendations:
There is a fantastic range of courses for international students. These are great as they offer everything and the teachers are so friendly and helpful here as they understand what you are going through

Maybe a little more help with choosing course outside the international office

Personal spending habits:
Britain is expensive for everything so Germany was cheap

Telephone: was more expensive than at home.

Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
