HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing:
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? An appartment gives you more privacy and calm than you rent a room in Alotra. If you live in an app, you can come and go in alotra whenever you want, but watch out for the guard. So you also don't miss that much of activities.
Personal comments:
none

Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
At least twice a week, I went to the café in hte school, which is ran by students; the atmosphere was great, I met a lot of people there and the beer was Belgium and cheap. What more do you want? In the towncntre, there weren't that many good café's open in the evenig. The two best were Shamrock, an Irish pub, and the Exit, both located at the Vieux-Port. There is also a club there, Trolleybus, which is very nice.
