Milan is a very expensive city especially now that the Euro has been introduced, but as long as you budget wisely, it'll all be good... Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was the same price as at home. Food, Nightlife: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Try buying food in bulk at large supermarkets rather than the local grocery stores, will save you money. Also a metropass (17 Euros/month) is extremely useful.. try not to live too far away from the city center, rent might be cheaper but you'll spend a lot on transportation. Milan is expensive with a capital E! Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Stay out of the central part of town if you don't want to spent loads of money. The southern (Navigli) and northern (Brera) parts of town are cheaper and much more 'real' Italian. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
