My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Not really but the lecturers don't make exceptions for foreign students, they are treated the same as nationals.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
My only regret is the way the courses were structured, for example subjects overlaped at times so i couldn't really take both courses, if they were of interest. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Food was a lot cheaper in comparison to prices in Ireland. My telephone bill was quite high because i had mobile and often made long international calls(to home). Housing, is cheaper then in Ireland, particularly because I live at home in Ireland but on the whole accommdation was cheaper. Nightlife was extremely cheap in comparison to Dublin City, both eating out and clubbing were cheaper. Travel was great, I went interrailing with friends during the semester break. Aachen is a very central town and they offered a lot of special offers on group trips etc.. In Germany I had a bus and rail semester ticket(part of the college fee) so travel was less expensive, in Ireland we do not receive travel passes. Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Nothing stands out except for initial housing expenses. Deposits and rent in advance, furnishing the apartment etc.. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
