no, not really. In August it´s really really hot in Madrid, and I wasn´t justed to it, therefor you won´t see a lot of people in Madrid, because there all on the beach. (important point, there is no beach in Madrid, just some public swimmingpools, and two big agua-parcs in the surroundings

Personal recommendation:
It´s a nice university, not to big, so you won´t get lost. Because it´s a private university, the people can be closed-minded, in other words, meeting Spanish people isn´t that easy, but the once I did met, are really good friends now.



FINAL COMMENTS

One year Spain --> nice culture, nice weather, nice nightlife, nice everything conclusion: one year is too short

Rich people which wouldn't like to speak with U?Don't worry, at the beginning it's normal but after learn to be more open-minded! Really.

In this year you can do everything you want. Of course,it's important make a plan of activities... you can travel and go parties but sometimes you have to study too.

It is great to study in the heart of Madrid, and teachers are nice to international students!

When you're a student, you can get an orange card in order to pay less for the tube!Do not expect to find anything open between 1pm and 4pm:it is naptime!!

take your time to visit the country, the diversity is just amazing. As far as accomodation is concerned buy Segunda mano and you will find, no doubt

It´s a small university, so you won´t get lost soon

There are a lot of student travelagencies if you want to travel, it´s a lot cheaper, Come alone, it´s hard in the beginning, but when you know people, it´s so much more fun
