Why? I met lots of great people from all around the world.

Personal comments:
I lived on campus, which was actually a student housing complex 10 minutes walk away from the university. It was filled with both international and Swedish students, which gave me a great opportunity to practise my Swedish, as most of my classes were in English. Everyone had their own room with an ensuite, so there were no sharing toilets, which I was very happy about. There was a fully equipped kitchen that was shared amongst 4 rooms. Everything was very clean and overall, I was extremely happy with my housing arrangements.

Why? If I go back to Sweden, I will manage to find an apartment in the city center to have a better access to library, shopping center, sport center...

Personal comments:
The accommodation at the Göteborgs Universityt is good with a lot of student offers (sport, animation, availability to travel around nordic countries for low cost..). However, the campus gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of european students.

Personal comments:
a 25m² room, with own kitchen and bathroom. really nice furnitures (ikea). good situated. means of transport directly in front of the building. groceries 3 min away. many other exchange students in the same building. own big garden. barbecue facilities. laundry room with new equipment (for free)

Personal comments:
The Gothenburg campus is located 20 minutes on foot and 10 by bike. The internet LAN connection allowed me to work easily with people staying at home! The space of each room is enought for a person, and the toilet included makes the accomodation pretty useful

Personal comments:
housing in Helmutsrogatan was great! quite new building. Generally Helmutsrogatan and Olofshöjd (much older) are the best accomodations offered by the university all the others are maybe better in standard but not so close to the city center.

Why? It was just perfect.

Personal comments:
I would choose to live in the same place, as the house I was living with had a perfect location, both in town and closeliness to the university . I was living in a family house, where everybody treated me like a family member and I really enjoyed my stay.

Why? Best contact to other individual student. Broadband internet connection available at low price. Nice View over Gothenburg from some dorm rooms. university in good cycling distance. difficulties to find appartment in city center.

Personal comments:
The buildings don't look nice first. But it developed to be a very pleasant and exciting stay. And by the way there's an amusement park in walking distance:)

Why? We lived only students on that place, mixed the swedish with the foreigners.It´s the best way to meet people and enjoy your student life.The appartments also were pretty big and confortable.

Why? You live in a single room with lot of exchange student neighbours that makes you feel comfortable and have fun.

Personal comments:
Housing is available for all the exchange students. The price is reasonable if you think the type of accomodation and the services offered.

Why? Olofshöjd, the campus where I lived, was the main student campus, so almost all exchange students lived there - and a lot of normal students too. The location to the university (30 min walk) was perfect.

Why? you get to know many students and you have more fun than in an appartment. Just make sure, that you are staying either in Helmutsrogatan or Olofshöjd!

Why? It was a house only with student apartments and it was perfect!

It was all organised by the host university. The building was new, the apartment was well equipped, with own kitchen and bathroom. It was perfect.

It's very well organized by Göteborgs Universitet, you don't have to do anything apart from applying and paying :-)

Why? On campus offers many advantages, such as living downtown and living close to the university buildings

I lived in a sort of studentcity where also socially disadvantaged lived. It was a great place to live in, do not get me wrong, but it was 30 min walking distance from university.

Why? because the student rooms are rather comfortable, useful facilities as laundries, a cheap restaurant and a tuck-shop are provided and because one can meet easily the other students (common kitchen).

There are no big inconvenients (apart from the dirtiness of some common kitchens).

Why? We were 30 erasmus students from each part of the world, living in a small community.

I would like to say that student accomodation in Göteborg is of very good quality. Basically with regards to some facilities such as Iternet.
