You shoud take time to visit Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Youth hostels are very confortable and affordable.

I can't remember the exact names but the "after work" on Friday's night were very pleasant. A good cafe was close to the University, in the old town, offering delicious crumble pies.
