I would recommend to search an apartment independently or to choose living with other Belgian students because most of the international accomodation is not very tidy and nice.

Oh, there are plenty of improvements I would suggest but I think this depends highly on the type of student. So maybe, I was not exactly the right type for HEC.

I had no problems in communicating. By the way: there are many students who do not speak a word of french, so within HEC most international students communicate in english. This was a bit annoying for me because I wanted to improve my french and not my english.

I wish I had known...
Liege is not a pretty city, very dirty and there are many strange people around. It is somewhat criminal (2nd highest criminal rate in Belgium after Charleroi)!
