There is simply too much to list for Montréal. Just simply enjoy. Best places to go out are on the Plateau or in the Village. Forget Downtown for nightlife.

Personal comments
There is only one person in charge and she is simply swamped with all the work. Furthermore we had to pay 5 rental fees for 4 months + our rental fee was far over market price. However the flat was ok and it saved me a lot of time and worries.

Academic
Course recommendations
Finance courses are really tough at the HEC Montréal. If you take marketing courses, let them be 3rd year courses. If you take Consumer Behavior, do it with Marcoux.

Final comments
If you go to NYC take the bus that leaves before midnight. It's cheap and it saves you one night. Quebec city is worth a visit, and so is the Gaspésie. Take your time to discover Montréal.
