Personal comments
Yes, hunt for housing in June/July/August. There will be much more to rent, and landlords will be willing to deal.

Course recommendations
The teacher are very capable teachers. This is important because the biggest name in research who can't teach isn't worth much to me.

Personal recommendation
It doesn't have a HUGE name yet, but it's on its way up. Last year, the HEC Montreal Team won third place at the National University of Singapore Case Competition against 640 teams from 117 schools. The list of competitors is a who's who of the world's top business schools. The final round had IESE, Kellog, IIT, Rice, Rotterdam, and Jain, and we won third place!

Final comments
It's a one year program, so it takes a motivated individual to get things done and done quickly, but if you don't fancy digging a big financial hole for yourself just so you can go to business school, then HEC Montreal may be the best Judo move of your career.

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I had my own house before coming to school, so living with roommates is not high on my list of things to do.

Personal comments
Housing around campus gets easy to find around June or July, but before that be prepared to be charged a higher rate. If you could wait, wait until the summer to secure housing.

The school itself is in the middle of a residential/university setting. The nearest bars/cafe is half a mile away, but if you're willing to hop on the Metro, the best night life on the planet awaits you.
