If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I lived in a campus in Milan more than 3 years, so I wolud try an apartment and I appreciated a lot my accomodation
Personal comments:
It wasn't very big just 60-65 sqared metres and I stayed there with another gay; We had two separate rooms for ourself and a huge sitting room ; The accomodatione was in close proximity of the university and we paid just 150 euro for each;

Personal comments:
At the beginning my french was very weak, I just learned it at the secondary school so I spoke with basic sentences but all over my experience in Montreal, most of my friends were canadians, I had no Italians around me so It has been easier for me learn french day by day
