Be prepared to pay a lot for bad accommodation. Make use of the weekends to travel and see a lot.

Groningen has a lot to offer when it comes to night life. There are plenty of happy hours for students and fine bars to visit. To mention a few of the best: The Three Sisters, Rhumba, Sally O'Briens and Moly Malones

Accommodation is a problem in Groningen. The rooms are expensive and few. If you choose to stay on campus it is often loud, crazy, dirty and expensive.
