Description:
The Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration is the third oldest institute of higher education in Finland. The school was established by the business community in 1904, and became an institute of university standing in 1911. It remained privately operated until 1974, when financial responsibility was turned over to the state of Finland.

These stays are a great experience to visit countries and to meet different people. In Finland for exemple, Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Lapland are places easy to go and fantastic. There are people from all over the world to meet and to learn from, Europe of course but from North and South America as well. Read Review

Why? Because it is quite good located compared to the school and all students live there as well, it is pretty funny.

one bar / dancing that can not be missed in Mikkeli : Stoppari. meeting of every students from 1 to 4 times a week. followed by Zic Zac to finnish the night.

lot f international students so good way to improve English. However, lots of French students as well, so French is still spoken for daily purposes.

Globally, the budget is pretty higher than at home, most of all because of travels and nightlife...
Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Housing: was the same price as at home.

I wish I had known...
Be prepared in asking advices to people who already went there, just to avoid bad surprises during the first days of your stay, because you will probably get some anyway... but don't worry, everything is going to be OK and this stay will be the best experience of your life !! lot of fun and memories !!

Personal recommendation:
This is a university which allow to get and international BBA, and acknoleged in Europe (equis). But a pity that the international campus is in Mikkeli and not in Helsinki or at least in a bigger city..
