Celtica - Irish bar live music down stairs disco upstairs. Cheap drink and lots of fun. Corbeau - Local bar 1 litre glasses "chavilier" disco music. Big bar with lots of people dancing on all the tables, really good fun. Fuse - Big nightclub Often used for university parties mixture of music. Often the European commission has parties for different nationalities e.g Spanish parties, British, Scandanavian. Often with themes. Usually cos a bit more 500-800 francs but well worth going to. Karaoke bar - near the bourse. Simply for thoise who love to sing there hearts out, nice atmosphere, some of the old pro's do their bit but don't let them put you off. Songs in English, French and Italian. O'Reillys bar & The James Joyce both Irish bars have sky and show most football matches. More games shown at O'reilly's but the James Joyce is cheaper and quieter. Wild Geese - Irish bar where all the European commission stagièrs hang out good atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday, a bit crowded and also a bit expensive. mmmmm Boys baudoir is very nice ;). mostly our typical night was delirium at first (lekkere biertjes ;) and then Celtica...which mostly many girls hated for the people insede :(... but who knows why, even if it was hated by most people, almost every saturady or friday was finishing there... But my favourite place is a bar next to the the grote markt... but I don't remember the name...we call it the " couch place" because it's full of couches distributed in three strange floors... and then other places such as corbeau (op de tafel!!!) the box and beautiful bresialian bars... with bresilian (one really nice but it's mine ;) guys avalaible to teach you how to dance bossa nova or samba... ;)!!!!!!!!!! many other places are nice but forgot the names!!!!!! the only place i didn't like at all was "you" discoteque: difficult to enter, and for what? once you are in, it's crowded of 14/15 and half max years old people, commercial music and not special drinks :-\... i went a saturday night in the 2nd semester and it was also the last one!!! La Grand Place: there are lots of places to have a beer and eat (bit expensive). Streets around Grand Place have different typical food (italian, greek, marrocain, seafood (delicious)). Maniken Pis (there is also a girl version, close to a bar "Delirium Tremens" that has more than 2000 types of beer. St. Michael's Catedral (just amazing). Eglise du Grand Sablon (my favorite part of Brussels). The public bikes are a good (but very heavy) way to travel cheaply around Brussels. Palais de Justice (marvelous from de outside, incredible on the inside). Every week there is some activity at the grand place or at any point in Brussels (if you get boared in Brussels it's because you want to). I enjoy visiting Latino and Irish pub/clubs. Places like Romanticus, Havana Club, O'Reillys, and Wild Geese could be a place to visit for the weekends. I'll say "Grande-Place" is another place one shouldn't miss during the summer. Moviegoers would sure have a great fun at Kinepolis but UGC-Debrouckere could prove to be a better alternative if one is planning for all-night fun for the fact that it's located at where I'll call the "Manhattan" of Brussels. The`re are several bars you can go to in Brussels. I like the bars in the city center, depot, mezzo, cafe central, mappa mundo, dali`s bar, but. I haven`t found a real student bar, I mean a place where you can meet students from other universities. The student asociation from my university aranged a couple of good parties and also the student asociation which was helping the erasmus students. Fuse (big club) parties were very good. In Brussels they have nice clubs but rather expensive. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I didnt participate in any sport but in all the activities that were offered by my school. I liked the Cafe Grand Cafe. There are plenty of bars and like le Corbeau, that was pretty nice, and pubs, like Boca loca and Celtica where you can dance until morning. Music festival will still come in summer, that will be nice. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
