It was easy to find the room. There is a homepage alberlet.hu where students offer rooms, I think also the corvinus university helps students to find a flat. Moreover, housing is cheap in Budapest.

Be cautious with international bank transactions denominated in HUF, my home bank charged me 20EUR and also the receiving Hungarian Bank charged me 20EUR for a transaction of 40000HUF = 160EUR, do only EUR denominated transactions, then banks are not allowed to charge anything

Academic
Course recommendations
Nemeslaki Andras is a nice and amusing teacher, his course on E-Business was useful and interesting, do not take courses related to cultural items, the whole department is not good...

At Corvinus the first week of the semester students can add and drop courses afer "trying them out", maybe this great idea should be explained more explicitly to Erasmus students, who are not familiar with the system.

It is a pity that the courses were held in English, I would have prefered to study in Hungarian, but the overwhelming majority of Erasmus students were not interested in Hungarian and so the courses were held in English.
