I went to the opera, the theatre and nearly all the art museums. It was a very cultural city. I also went to various concerts of popular music. The nights of fourviere are not to be missed as is the the festival of lights.

This one-year course included modules in politics, economics and growth of the EU. This provided me with the opportunity to experience university life in France. All lectures and tutorials were given in French. Initially, this was quite a challenge but I quickly learned to adapt and persevere. It also made me aware of the different teaching and learning techniques used in France
