Travel as much as you can. Mexico is such a beautiful country, and there are so many things to see. If you have a chance also try and spend a weekend somewhere far away from tourism with a family, with locals. As a female be prepared that you will be treated differently than you may be used to and that you will have to adapt to the local culture (eg fashion). Mexicans are definetly machos. Read Review

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why? To live with natives and speak more Spanish
Personal comments:
The housing facilities were nice and I enjoyed my stay very much because there were many nice people living in the house. However it was quite expensive for what it was, and the management was quite bad.
