KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Type of housing: With 12 Mexican neighbours
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The house I am living in now is pretty close to my host university, only 5 minutes on foot. And moreover, my 12 Mexican neighbours are really nice and helpful for my Spanish learning.
Personal comments:
The international office of my host university in Mexico is very helpful and very efficient as well for finding an accommdation for foreign students.

Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses

Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
This universtity is said as one of the best university in Latin America. It is famous of plenty of homeworks, which as a student studying for a double degree program, I tasted the bitter part. And moreover, the courses could be more diverse.

My opinion of the university assessment

It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.

Overall
Personal comments:
I have been here almost 10 months. I have done almost 64 exams, (excluding some suprising exams), around 20 presentations, more than one hunderd homeworks. I do understand that homework and exam are the key for students to solid their new-learned knowedge. However, maybe it would be better that students got time to concentrate on mastering less topic than just doing homeworks for finishing homeworks, doing exmas just for passing exams. Nevertheless, I have to admite that I study rather more courses than that of average students.

Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish
How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Basic phrases
My level after: At ease in most situations
Personal comments:
It was hard in the very beginning.I did not have good Spanish foundation, and moreover, it was really a difficult language for me. I lost some chances to practise more for there are a lot students were talking with me in English. However, I can understand, read and write with this language now with ease.
