The price level is so much lover!!! The apartment was of a lot higher quality than the on I have in Finland, and the rent was still cheaper. I went out a lot more and travelled more than I do back home, but the costs are so much cheaper than in Finland, that I spend far less money! Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
I could live with the Finnish government student allowance!!! Including going to party every week, eating out, traveling and shopping!!! Cost-saving tips? If you go to visit Budapest, don't go eating to restaurants in tourist areas. In Szeged, ask advise from the Hungarian students about shops and restaurants. Turn the gas heater off when you are not at home, the gas bill might be quite big if you use the heating carelessly. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

It is cheaper here than in Finland..at least for awhile..prices are getting up unfortunately Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Try tol share an apartment with others so you can share the expenses. Eat at the university canteens or some other places like that..cook home if you can..I don't because I am lazy to go to the big supermarkets..yes...try to buy things from those places..like TEsco or Cora..visit in the market at MArs Tér may also be useful This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Well as for the phone, cos I really needed my mobile to stay in touch with the other students, while at home I dont use it much. For the rest, the cost of life for most things is much lower than in Italy, especially for food it is like half! We went to eat out really often cos we could have a good meal at a good restaurant for the equivalent of 5-6 euros!!! Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

The average costs are much lower than in Germany. Only in food i had almost the same expenses, because I always went eating in the restaurants. Food: was the same price as at home. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
A hungarian student card cuts train travels by 66%! Students travel cheaper in 1st class trains than in 2nd class! (Szeged - Budapest, 2 1/2hrs => 4 Euro!). This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
