Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Personal comments:
because we (America and England) speak the same language, the only differences i experienced were in cultural behavior, we seemed to have a slightly different sense of humour

How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
LIVING FOUR MONTHS IN THE US CERTAINLY IMPROVE MY LEVEL OF ENGLISH. IT IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM STUDYING IT IN FRANCE WITH FRENCH-SPEAKING TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
