HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because you can meet a lot of people of your age and have many facilities available
Personal comments:
I was satisfied, I couldn't really have asked for more! You find always someone who helps you. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
If you are in Graz you absolutely have to go to Las Tapas, a wonderful pub in the center of the city. If you are going to have a coffee you find the best one by Beanery, near the city park. My favourite cinema? Schubert! Why? Because it is in a "strategic" position, in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Try to decide the courses you will attend before they start. I had no idea at the beginning and it was very confusing!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I would try to create more opportunities of contact between host-students and austrian students This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language of instruction: German
Was learning German a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my German How much did you improve your German?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
By hearing all day and all night a language you simply learn it, without grammar books or long hours of study! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
None Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Because Austria's telephone rates are really high. For what concerns travel, I travelled more here than at home but I've also found that the train is more expensive Travel, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
If you don't like cooking go to the Katholische Mensa, the quality is high and the prices right for students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
