Compared to American universities, the course were very different. Only one exam at the end of the course and block scheduling. In other words class does not meet everyday or even every week sometimes. But I really enjoyed my classes.

Personal comments
I found it a bit difficult to learn the local language for two reasons. First, because I am an American and there is a lack of exposure to other languages in the United States, so I found it quite difficult to learn. Second, because all the other Erasmus students wanted to improve their English, so they always spoke in English.
