HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Living on campus is a unique experience for european students as it is very different from what we experience in our home country. It's also the extraordinary opportunity to meet and live with people from all of the world (Chineese, Indians, Europeans, Americans...!). It's a culturally extremely rich experience, unvaluable!
Personal comments:
It's very well located and taken care off. It's old buildings with their disadvantages sometimes, but it's also what gives them all their charms! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The academic level was excellent but they should provide a tighter link with professional life for students (meeting with companies, professionals, etc). This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I already had a high knowledge of english before going to Australia but I gained knowledge in specialised business vocabulary and overall in my writing skills. The result is that english is not a foreign language for me anymore, I think in english and mainly could easily work in a english speaking environment! OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Nor really, I got helped by an organism and friends, so there weren't any surprises once there. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
If you're looking for a truly international experience, then Melbourne is the place to go to! And why LaTrobe, because while not being located directly in the city you get to know people better. It's a true "campus" life. FINAL COMMENTS
Australia is a fantastic country, economically and culturally dynamic, with nice weather conditions and certainly australians are one of the nicest and kindest people in the western world! In addition you get to see amaizing landscapes, learn more about the aboriginal culture, and practice any type of sport you want. Basically everything is possible in Australia, at relatively cheap rates, from skying, hiking to surfing and sunbathing on magnificent beaches...
