I wanted to enjoy as much as possible my experience abroad. That's why I spent quite a lot in travelling (I visited lots of places in United Kingdom), I also went out a lot to meet people again and again, I think it is the best way to improve your social life. On the other side i used to try to minimize my expenses in other categories like clothes, telephone... Travel, Nightlife: was more expensive than at home. Food, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Not really, I knew England would be more expensive but I think Leeds is quite a cheap place compared to other cities in UK This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

When we first arrived you anly have limited things with you, mostly clothing. Therefore we had to buy a lot of household goods in order to get properly settled. Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Try to thing of one £ as 12 NOK, then some things will not look as cheap as you might think. Compared to Norway the prices are pretty much the same. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal comments:
Line rental is cheaper than pay-as-you-go, rent place next to where you spend more time, buy day riders, travel during cheap hours, dont buy too much food - you will get bored of the same food and it will go bad This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Travelling cost can be a bit on the expensive side, including accommodation, then in my home country; in monetary terms. Afterall, Pound Sterling was strong, and probably is now. Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home.
