Hergarn's on thuesdays. Flamann with it's jazz concerts on wednesdays. Both have free-entrance for exchange students.

Final comments
Travels by plane can be extremly cheap with stand-by ticket system within Sweden - 25$ for such a ticket sounds nice(you must be <25). Also you will get 20% lower price for train tickets if you book the in less then 24h to departure with "sista minuten" via internet. By a bike for travels within city you'll live - public trafic is extremally expansive. And ALWAYS lock your bike or you will have it only in your memory.
